In this Narrative 2D Action Adventure game, players will encounter spirit guides like the Wolf and Fox to aid the journey of overcoming traps and “reflections” of negativity with unique actions like jumping, and even invisibility. Embrace the act of releasing pains to let go of grief, achieving passage to the next realm.
The videogame Tapestry of Passing is inspired from the folk song Marea Trecere also known as The Great Passing; the visual style is inspired from Romanian tapestry work. Players must navigate the limbo between the living and the dead, guided by the Bocitoare (grievers). Based on the Romanian Legend of Passing, the soul must successfully pass to the World of the Dead, and not become a Strigoi (ghost).

“The idea for Tapestry of Passing was put up to a vote in the team, we drew inspiration from games from the 80s and early 90s. The visual style is Pixel Art, we chose this as it dovetails with our inspiration relating to Romanian tapestry work.”
